There were cases when for some people it was easy to join Cisco even without having CCIE. In my case, I had one CCIE and when I got rejected during my first interview around 2004 I was told that "I'm not capable enough". So for me, that was one of the reason I took the 2nd one, just to prove that I was capable. Perhaps in different cases, it was not necessary. Or probably in other case, even someone has 2 but Cisco won't hire for some other reason. Hi Jacob,
